Octopus F190 Precision Attitude with Enhanced Positioning and Heading Accuracy

Maximum performance for inland waterways, ports and harbours

The Octopus F190 Enhanced Attitude and Positioning System, integrates Octopus precision attitude technology with in-built satellite-broadcast differential correction receiver for exceptionally high accuracy positioning in ports, harbours and inland waterways.

Integrating additional hardware to receive high precision satellite-broadcast differential corrections, the F190 is capable of delivering decimetre accuracy without any additional differential correction hardware. Receiving corrections from a subscription* satellite service, through the same L1/L2 GPS antenna, high accuracy positioning is possible throughout 90% of the world. In addition to the benefits of improved positioning, reliable and accurate differential corrections can significantly improve the F190's overall performance. Adding L2 capability to the secondary antenna (F190+) further enhances performance of the F190, with faster heading initialisation, faster calibration and greater immunity to position drop-outs. In addition, the F190 is also enabled for 1cm RTK as standard to receive external RTK corrections (RTCM, RTCA, CMR & CMR+) where available.

Fully integrated into the familiar rugged housing, the F190 system is only slightly larger than a standard F180 with an increased height of 2.5cm
(L 234mm x W 120mm x H 105mm). All existing Octopus F180 systems can be easily upgraded to F190 capability.

*Requires subscription to a satellite-broadcast differential correction service. Usage restrictions may apply.
